Modi's PMO app

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the PMO app on Saturday at the town hall meet. This app let the citizens for discussions and direct submission of grievances directly to the Prime Minister's office(PMO) from their Smartphones. He launched it as a part of the second anniversary of the launch if the government's online discussion portal www. MyGov.in. This portal came into existence in July 26, 2014 as a part of Digital India campaign. Actually they conducted an online contest for the development of the newly launched app. A team of six engineering students from Delhi Technical University won the contest and its now launched successfully. Similar to the online portal it has a lot of discussion topics and at present it has 3.52 million registered members, 1,82,000 submissions in 491 tasks and 3.40 million comments in 590 discussion themes. It's looking as that of the MyGov website into mobile format,it seems to be very informative as it has variety of important topics of discussions, polls, suggestions etc. But they have little trouble in logging in after registering. It also shows some ad at the bottom which is not expected in any of government apps. This apo is currently available on Android but it's also expected in iOS soon.
