Ravi’s(Jayam ravi) Bogan to release on Christmas Day

Lakshman, director of ‘Jayam’ Ravi’s upcoming film Bogan, has said that the film would be releasingon 25th December as the star’s ‘Christmas gift’ to his fans.

Ravi and Lakshman had earlier worked together in last year’s hit film Romeo Juliet and have an excellent rapport between them. Hansika, who had earlier paired up opposite Ravi in her debut film Engeyum Kaadhal and in Romeo Juliet, gets her third film opposite him in Bogan which also has Arvind Swamy in a prominent role.

Bogan has already generated lot of excitement as it brings together ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Arvind Swamy, who rubbed shoulders against each other in last year’s super-duper hit film Thani Oruvan. Arvind Swamy has also sung a song in the film which is now being shot with 50 dancers from Russia. Soundararajan is the cinematographer of the film which has music by D. Imman.

“We are wrapping up the film’s shoot with this song sequence and would go in to post-production stage. The film’s script revolves around the eternal ‘Good Vs Evil’ theme but has been presented in a lovable manner.

We plan to release the film in theatres on Christmas,” says Lakshman. Others in the cast include the sizzling Akshara Gowda, Nagendra Prasad, ‘Aadukalam’ Naren and VTV Ganesh.

Gautham Menon was supposed to work with Vikram and Nayanthara in 2015 for his action thriller Dhruva Natchathiram. But the project, which was said to be bankrolled by Ayngaran International, was dropped for reasons only known to the team.Now, Gautham Menon is reviving Dhruva Natchathiram, which is again set to come out of cold storage finally. The project will star Vikram in the lead role. The team is yet to finalize the lead heroine. There are reports that GVM might approach Nayanthara again to play the role.
Vikram will soon work with Vaalu director Vijay Chander and start shooting for Dhruva Natchathiram from January end or early February. Meanwhile, GVM is expected to wrap up Dhanush’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thota.

Mobile phones of Hansika and Trisha hacked, contacts deleted.In a strange case of breach of privacy and security, mobile phones of actresses Trisha and Hansika have been hacked and the hacker has rubbed salt to the wound by deleting all the saved (phone) numbers in both the mobile phones.
It’s not new for e-mail, Twitter, Facebook and other accounts of celebrities to be hacked but probably for the first time in Kollywood’s history, the cell-phones of two popular actresses has been hacked. Both the actresses have informed about this in their respective tweets.“Those who know my mobile number may please call me on What’sapp or text me your number along with your name as my phone has been hacked and the hacker has deleted all the contacts that I had saved in my cell-phone; whoever did it would be taken care of by Cyber Crime Branch police as well as by their own Karma,” Trisha has tweeted on her Twitter account.Hansika, after reading Trisha’s tweet, has responded by saying that the same thing had occurred to her too and appealed to her friends and relatives to text their names and mobile numbers to her What’sapp number.

Yes the heroine for VIP 2 is confirmed

Amala Paul is reportedly doing the lead in Dhanush's VIP 2.When Kalaipuli Thanu announced his production venture VIP2 (Velaiyilla Pattathari) under the direction of Soundarya Rajinikanth with Dhanush as the hero, there were quite a few questions, the top one being whether this film would be the sequel of VIP in its story or a different script with just the same title with an addition of a number. The common factor at that point was Dhanush as the hero.
However, we hear reports that Amala Paul who featured in VIP has also been brought in VIP2. And there is also Samuthirakani who again rocked it big time as Dhanush’s dad in the first one.
If three important leads in the form of Dhanush, Amala Paul and Samuthirakani are there in VIP2 too, we wonder if VIP 2 will take off from where VIP left. Or is this a totally different story and it is a mere coincidence that the project shares the same actors.

Subbulakshmi was tipped to be making her acting debut opposite Dhanush.
“Thank you everyone for the warm wishes for my baby but it is false news. She is focused on school right now. No plans of acting,” Gautami wrote on her Twitter page.Gautami, who recently separated from actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan after living together for 13 years, will spend all her time on her daughter’s future.“Vella Illa Pattathari 2” is the sequel to Dhanush’s 2014 smash hit, “Vella Illa Pattathari”, and it will be directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth.

Actors Kamal Haasan and Shah Rukh Khan have been invited to the first look launch of superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming Tamil science-fiction drama “2.o” here on Sunday, a source said.
“Invitations have been sent to both Kamal sir and Shah Rukhji, and even arrangements have been made for their hospitality. However, they are yet to confirm their presence, and hence, an official announcement is still pending,” a source from the film’s unit said.
Filmmaker Karan Johar will emcee the event, which will take place at Yash Raj Films studios in the presence of the entire cast of “2.o”, a Rs 350 crore magnum opus being directed by Shankar.Apart from the first look poster, the lead characters from the film will be unveiled in 3D at the event.Also starring Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain, the film has music by Oscar winner A.R. Rahman.
The first look of “2.o” will be revealed to the public for the first time and will be live streamed on the Lyca Production YouTube channel and in Lyca mobile app on both Android and iOS platforms.
