FLEXIBLE MAGNETIC MEMORY DEVICE

It is about implementing powerful magnetic memory chip on plastic material which describes the flexibility of the memory chip. It is like a small transparent substance.  It is said to be 'smart plastic'. It is mainly used for data storage, code processing, wireless communication .  This has become an essential element for flexible and light weight devices.
The principle behind this is Magneto resistive random access memory(MRAM), which uses Magnesium oxide (MgO) based Magnetic Tunnel Junction (MTJ) to store data. The conventional random access memory is able to retain the memory even after the power supply is off. It also has high processing speed and low power consumption.
First MgO based MTJ is etched on the silicon surface , by using transfer printing approach it is fixed on the plastic material made up of polyethylene teraphthalate. It can transfer data faster. Its applications are in automotive , healthcare, electronic industries, robotics , power and energy saving management and in military.
