Searching giant Google launched its chrome 52 yesterday for Windows,Mac and Linux. This was mainly concentrated for the developers this could be updated using the browser built in silent update or download it directly from Google.com/chrome for making the use of latest version. Chrome with its more than one billion users has been more than a browser plays a major platform for the web developers. Google has removed the last instances of chrome launch as promised in this release. The tool which let users launch chrome apps even if the browser is not running will live on in Chrome OS.The performance observer API allows sites to collect real user measurement (RUM) at runtime by declaring which metrics they are interested in. The browser simply notifies the site when new data points for those metrics available instead of polling for updates. The service workers have gained streaming support Chrome new supports VAPID an open standard for authenticating a site's server with a push service. Sites are given a Firebase cloud messaging endpoint that cross browser web push protocols.Here are some developer feature in this release 1) Chrome now pause animation while showing modal dialog box 2) HTTP alternative services that enables easier protocol upgrades and load balancing 3) Easy creation of Images bitmaps by Image Bitmap options to specify the configuration on construction 4) Sites can be free from the memory consumption of Image Bitmap.close() 5) It now supports open type small capitals and easier styling of numbers too. 6) This latest version of chrome supports that disables the default rendering of HTML 5 meter elements and allows easier custom CSS styling 7) The HTML media element.src attribute that simplifies associating a media stream with media element. 8) The audio padam now supports the read only min and max attributes to simplify introspection. 9) Panner node and Audio listener now supports automation method allowing smooth audio transition. 10) It can now experiment with a persistent storage as an original trial. 11) Post messages overrides the form Post messages have been deprecated 12) X-frame option will no longer be supported to meta tag to support a more secure implementation . Invalid value of track kind are now treated as meta data instead of subtitles to improve media behaviour in older user agents.Chrome 52 comes with 42 security fixes that its not available in the previous version which will be a highlight. If you all add those up you will see Google spent just $21000 in bug bounties this time around . As always the security fixes alone should be enough incentive for us to upgrade. Chrome 52 for Android and iOS are also on their way Chrome 53 will arrive September.
