PMK to go it alone in local body Election

    Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) is going for a total renewals of its party following its election loss and the process has already started in many  district.   
      “As a first step, all the local units and party units at the panchayat union have been dissolved. We have constituted a three-member committee to elicit opinion from partymen. We will complete the process in three months,” said Dr.Anbumani Ramadoss, former Union Minister and PMK’s youth  leader. The outcome of the elections has not brought in any change in the decision of the PMK to go it alone in future. “We will go it alone in the forthcoming local body election. In the five years we will streamline and strengthen the party organisation,” he said.
