Most expected movies in 2017!
Kollywood saw 200 films making it to the theatres in 2016, repeating the feat it managed to pull off in the last two years. While films like Kabali, Theri, Remo, etc, set the cash registers ringing, small films like Pichaikkaran, Uriyadi, and a few others, were also notable and made decent profits. Vetrimaaran’s Visaaranai, though it missed the Oscar race after putting up an impressive show in the initial rounds, will remain one of the critically acclaimed and realistic attempts in the history of Tamil film industry. However, the coming year, 2017, also has several small and big films coming up. Movies in varied genres which promise to be different in terms of content. Some with interesting combos, some good stories... Check out 10 movies which are set to hit the screens this year that cine buffs can’t wait to watch...

Now, a sequel to the project, 2.0, with Bollywood Khiladi, Akshay Kumar, too, joining hands with Rajini, is on the anvil. The interesting combination of stars has already made it a sensational project among movie aficionados. The likes of Salman Khan and Karan Johar attending the film’s first look launch sometime ago also ensured that the project will draw the attention of the Mumbai filmi circuit. Interestingly, 2.0 is considered to be the only film in the current scenario which could pose a potential threat to Bahubali.
