Not many of us are aware of the fact that Mani Ratnam has worked with late actor Murali in two films because both weren’t successful. The latest update is that Mani Ratnam is in talks with Murali’s son Atharvaa to play the lead role in his next film after Kaatru Veliyidai.
Mani Ratnam is currently in Ladakh shooting a song with Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari for Kaatru Velyidai and he will be wrapping up the shoot by the end of this year.Once Mani Ratnam completes Kaatru Veliyidai, he will be start working on his next project and our sources say that Atharvaa Murali is the front runner to play the lead role in the film.
