Rarely, Vijay Sethupathi’s three films have been on offer at Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai. His Dharma Durai, Aandavan Kattalai and Rekka are the films which are screned in the many halls in this prestigious complex. Incidentally, Vijay Sethupathi becomes the first hero to have three films running in a same complex!.With many releases to his credit, one would have thought Vijay Sethupathi won’t have any further film releasing this year. However, it is now reported that he has at least two more films lined up to hit the screens.
One of them would be the much-delayed and almost forgotten Idam Porul Yaeval directed by Vijay Sethupathi’s mentor and close friend Seenu Ramasamy. It has Visnu Vishal, Nandita Swatha and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles.Mellisai is another film which brings together the hit pair of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom as Gayathrie is to have a release after a long time. Besides these films, Vijay Sethupathi has K.V. Anand and Renigunta Panneerselvam’s next films as well which makes his fans believe that he would be very busy in 2017 too!
