Scientist made a research to make a Smartphone waterproof and they had found a new protective coating for it too.The new spray that they developed has a capability to repel water so it's suggested to be used to waterproof smartphones. Not only that its also suggested to be used to prevent ice formation on aircraft or protecting boat hulls from corroding. It's just the surface of nano particles which water slides off as if it's on a hot barbecue. The team has also made a more robust coating by combining two plastics one of which is tough and the other is flexible. The water repellent coating is also known as Super hydrophobic coating ,a transparent one. Its also extremely resistant to ultraviolet radiation. This is able to stabilize very fragile nano materials which results in ultra durable nano textures with wide real world applications. The are two ways in creating the material. One of which is to flame to produce the nano particle constituents if the materials. It's said that Nowadays most of the functional coating are weak but by applying the same principles we can make robust coating which are anti corrosive, self cleaning and oil repellent.
