Some of the scientist named Hung won seo, Jae woo park,Keong su lim,Ji Hwan yang and Sang Jung kang from the Korean Advanced institute of Science and Technology discovered the world's first transparent computer chip. The chip which they discovered is known as TRRAM(Transparent Resistive Random Access Memory) which is same as that of present chip CMOS otherwise known as metal oxide semiconductor memory which is used in new electronics. TRRAM is clear and transparent. This new chip provides a non volatile memory. With the emergence of TRRAM, the R&D in developing a transparent electronic prototype and the demand for materials is expected to rise in near future.The developers of the chip are sure that TRRAM will be an alternate device to current CMOS based flash memory in future after its reliability is proven and once any manufacturing issued are solved said professor Jae Woo Park. It's added that the new devices have the potential to be manufactured cheaply because any transparent materials can be utilized as substrate and electrode. They also may not require incorporating rare elements such as Indium. This technology is expected to be in market within 3-4 years.
