Actress Keerthy Suresh has said that she was very confident that her parents, who fell in love with each other before getting married, may not say ‘no’ to her love-affair as and when it occurs.
With films such as Idhu Enna Maayam and Rajini Murugan in her kitty, Keerthy Suresh (daughter of yesteryear’s heroine Menaka) is going places in Kollywood. She has an impressive array of films on hand: Thodari opposite Dhanush, untitled film opposite Vijay and she is also said to be in the reckoning to play Suriya’s heroine in his next film after S3.
Speaking about her sojourn thus far, Keerthy sais “I would never act glamourously in any of my films; I’m simply not cut out for it. I’m also starring in Telugu films of late and thankfully, I’ve not been compelled/asked to don glam-filled attires. I also don’t believe in going on a signing-spree. I believer in quantity rather than quality and as such, I pick and choose my roles.
“I’m not demanding much and rumours in this regard entirely wrong,” she said. On the question of falling in love and getting married, Keerthy says smilingly “I haven’t yet fallen in love; even if I do so, I don’t think I’d face problems on the home front as my parents too fell in love before getting married!”
