Since the sale of the company has struggled a lot last year it bets for 2016 are virtual reality and 360 degree video and aerial photography. It's capable to capture shots in 8K resolution and using the software wizardry it can produce high definition flat video that appears to pan and zoom when in reality it's just an editor picking and choosing which parts of the 360 degree video they want to show. Last week Samsung announced the 360 degree camera costs $349 which will be in market from August 19. It's of the same size of it and it can produce the same standard of videos as the GoPro's Omni. It's also comparatively lesser at rate than GoPro ($100). GoPro hasn't announced the next version of its Hero camera will be released too.
