Now comes Google Maps updated with Wifi only mode

Some Google maps users are reporting the launch of new features that has made the app more current and valuable to Android smartphone owners.It was reported that it has two fascinating features started to rollout on some Android Smartphone and Tablets. The First feature is the option to restrict the data usage to Wifi networks. If the user is updated they can see "Wi-Fi only" option within the settings menu. If once it's enabled, prevents from hogging their data when active that will be useful to conserve the bandwidth for the other tasks but however it still need some amount of data for efficient working. It's also reported that this new setting replaces the older "offline area" option. The next feature mentioned was the notifications for mass transit delays . This serves as a guide for the commuters who travel frequently.Recently it introduces a multi route directions with the single search query feature to its Map app . It has been tied up with the Archeological Survey of India to map out 250 monuments across the country which gives 360 degree of those monuments where we can zoom in and out any point. Further they added Google Earth and Street View are still in pipeline for India. Last week Google announced launch of extended features to add missing places and edit existing business or landmark information on the Google Map Apps and also the introduction of a new way for users to approve the edits submitted by the other user.
