Lakshmy Ramakrishnan blasts RJ balaji

Lakshmy Ramakrishnan pulls up Balaji for mocking her reality show in new film.
Actress-director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan has pulled up RJ Balaji, who has been busy as a comedian om films these days, for mocking her and her popular reality show in the comedian’s latest film.
Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru, directed by M. Rajesh and starring G.V. Prakash Kumar, RJ Balaji, Nikki Galrani, Anandhi and Prakash Raj in the lead, released in theatres last Friday and has been doing well in theatres. It turns out that Balaji has mocked Lakshmy’s popular reality show ‘Solvadhellaam Unmai’ in the film.
Taking seriously to it, Lakshmy took to her Twitter account to say “It is indeed sad to note that those who can bring about a change in society use films only to mock others who are indulged in socially-relevant activities,” she said and posed a question directly to Balaji when she asked how he would have felt had someone commented badly about his appreciable service to people in Chennai during last December’s floods.“Some directors and actors tend to create wrong ‘role models’ for today’s youths to ensure that Tamil youths don’t grow ‘mentally’ beyond keeping liquor bottles and loads of ‘arrears’ papers to clear. Woould G.V. Prakash Kumar take up a very good role in my upcoming film for the sake of society’s welfare? Is he ready to at least say some good things to his fans?
Solvadhellam Unmai discusses the pains and upsets of common man in today’s fast-paced society even as it attempts to solve all crises which are brought before us. I have completed 1000 episodes and am not trying to make people fools like some directors, actors and comedians do,” she said and added that keeping silence in the fact of unwarranted criticism amounted to cowardice.
