With 10,008 stylishly painted mud pots flooding with mouth-watering desserts and savories, all to be given to enthusiasts as

Dharmapathi at Arugankulam close here is
preparing for yet another sparkling Sri Krishna Jayanthi festivity.
Arranged around 4 km from here in the midst of greenish
fields, it has been observing Sri Krishna
Jayanthi in an arresting and bright form for
the previous five years.
Despite the fact that the securely attached "uriyadi" is a part of the
festivity, which will be hung on Sunday, the festivity does not wind up with the play as the Dharmapathi disperses eatables, all
arranged on its premises in an exceptionally hygienic
way by specialists, to the aficionados in the strikingly-painted mud pots as 'parasadam'.
The current year's work on setting up the bright mud
pots started in the primary quarter of this current year.
Enthusiasts and a group of specialists were painting
the pots, all made at Kooniyoor and Ervadi in the locale, renowned for earthen articles.
Of these 10,008 pots, a great number of pots has
been flawlessly painted with the substance of Lord
Krishna and a couple of other ceramic mirror the
'mainstream face' of this blessed spot with works of art
of Jesus and Sri Krishna as an inseparable unit and the
heavenly images like Cross, Crescent and "gopuram"
of the sanctuary.
