Usually people whisper when they want to say something secretly. Here is an app to convert whispered words into normal sounding speech. One hurdle was that the whispering cannot produce all tones achieved by the vocal cords. The missing ingredients means the no actual pitch. Any app that miscalculates the pitch can muddle the message. For this reason whisperers try to indicate the pith in other ways. Hideaki konno and his colleagues in Japan played sounds with just one frequency to five people and ask to whisper at those pitches. From this the team built a pitch predictor. The algorithm analysed the words from the pitch changes and then add missing frequency. They have called eight people and they listened to the synthesized words grasped the intended meaning 72% of the time. This system could run in Smartphone says konno. This will be happened if the algorithm is good enough to reconstruct a complete sentence.
