Communicate through it seems to be quite risky. This was filed by RTI activist in Haryana named Sudhir Yadhav.
It was mentioned as follows since what's app introduced the encryption feature since April so that the messages can't be accessed. If government asked them to break through an individual's messages they can't do so as they don't have decryption facility. Even intelligent agencies can't trace it too.
The messages can be decrypted by certain key combinations but it can't be done even with super computers and it takes 100s of years.
Similarly Viber,Hike and so on is also highly encrypted and it's dangerous too.He gave a letter to the Ministry of communication and IT and to Telecom regulatory authority of India but it was in vain.we have to wait for the results till tomorrow.
